So yesterday, while in summer school, I received a text from Han. It was the death of Mr. Zant. I didn't want to believe it, but after a few more texts, the sad news was true.

He was the reason why I enjoyed learning about Political Science. The reason for why I decided to choose this year-long social science sequence as my GE. The reason for why I have to write all these essays for summer school right now. No one will ever make me enjoy Political Science the same way he did. I only wished I had the chance to stop by his classroom before the accident. Now, the only memory I'll have of him was the time he inspired me to care about our government in his classroom. A memory worth remembering and a moment I'm glad of having.
